Let’s try to see the world from different view. Expected product of workshop: flags made by participants, with aim to present different identities and youth rights. Flags will be made in big proportions, on different types of materials and will be present on the streets of Novi Sad.
4. Discover diversity
There is diversity within each country, and diversity between them. Europe, after all, not only has a very diverse culture but also many points of commonality. To find those points of commonality and thereby understand our differences can be as important as the task of preserving our very separate identities. The discovery of others is the discovery of a relationship, not of barriers. Exposing of Europe is exposing of diversity. Europe is indeed a mixed place with different languages, cultures, nations, religions etc. Can“united” Europe be an open Europe, receptive to cultures from all over the world? Expected product of workshop: newspaper made by participants on different languages, with aim to present diversity, youth initiatives, to share different ideas, to support co-operation and set up common stories in youth field.
6. From frames to movement
Through the interaction between of differences it is possible to rich new solutions and arrive at new principles for action. We will have opportunity to search for answers on questions: How to deal with difference? How should we recognize and valorize cultural differences and, at the same time, promote the authentic cultural integration and integral development of young people? Which processes are necessary to reach this? What difficulties we will meet? Expected product of workshop: movie made by participants, with aim to present intercultural aspects from youth perspectives.
