eYouwins 09 Schedule

The main part of the thematic work of eYouwins 2009 will be the group work on different topics derived from the main theme and with the final goal to create innovative tools for intercultural dialogue. eYouwins 2009 has 5 different workshops which highlight the festival theme from various aspects, and the participants will attend one of these during the whole festival.
eYouwins 2009 will be functioning as an intercultural training and a cultural youth festival at the same time. There will be concerts, exhibitions, dance, and theatre performances. Trips and excursions in the countryside will give glimpses on the cultural heritage of Serbia to the participants.
As in former years, a special Country Show as well as country-specific parties will be organized. In these events participating countries will show parts of their cultural heritage and traditions.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from internationally acknowledged expert Dr Hugo van Veghel, exchange ideas, opinions, and provoke to think about innovative tools for intercultural dialogue. The Festival will boost creativity and innovation, raise awareness and develop competences that enable people to embrace change as an opportunity, to remain receptive to new ideas and to respect and appreciate the values of others. The eYouwins is famous about program organised in this part of the Festival. It involves Festival participants as well as citizens and other visitors of Novi Sad. Several different events are organised every day during the Festival (performances, large parties in the open air, karaoke, sport events…). The objective of the third segment of eYouwins program is to introduce Novi Sad, Vojvodina and Serbia, people who lives there, their tradition, culture and music; nature, way of life, food and drinks, humor…

eYouwins 2009

eYouwins – The European Youth Week in Novi Sad is the largest youth festival with a thematic focus in Serbia. eYouwins is dedicated to youth in Serbia, Europe and worldwide, and its mission is to promote the spirit of cooperation and to link cultures, ideas and, above all, people. We started in 2006 and in short time the Festival has gained popularity among young people all over Europe. During the last three years more than 2500 young people was involved in this event and more than 300 guests from 25 countries has visited Novi Sad and Serbia.
Our aim for 2009 ‐ European Year of Innovation and Creativity is to foster creativity and innovation in diverse and multicultural environment, take benefit from “the intersection” between cultures, attitudes, religions, knowledge and skills of young participants and as a result to gain high number of new combinations of ideas and create innovative tools for intercultural dialogue.

Participation fee for eYouwins’09 is 50 EURO for international participants and 3000 Dinars for the participants from Serbia.
