During eYouwins 2009 there will be organized 5 different creative workshops with the final goal to create innovative tools for intercultural dialogue. Workshops will be leaded by professional artists, youth workers, journalists, drama teachers and photographers. The aims of all workshops will be to create good atmosphere, interesting and creative results, to develop team work, to learn about other cultures and lifestyles, to gain some skills, to have fun and to enjoy. We hope that these workshops will be interesting challenge for you!

1. P(hoto)Art
This workshop will cover field of art and photography. It will be focused on making creative photos during European Youth Week in Novi Sad, using different models for photos (people, city, sculptures, nature, activities during festival, cultural heritage and diversity etc.). Participants will also have chance to learn more about photo art from professional photographer and later some of photos will be use for “eYouwins magazine”.

2. New media – old challenges
This workshop will introduce some basic elements of “media world” and through work with professional journalist participants will have task to prepare articles for eYouwins magazine. Participants will be in role of “daily reporters”. They will research, make interviews, write stories and news about events from festivals… Expected product of workshop is newspaper made by participants with aim to present activities and youth initiatives during festival, to support co-operation and set up common stories in youth field.

3. His(s)tory or Our Story?
The main theme of this workshop is an introduction to the exciting process of telling stories through comics. Workshop moderator will present demonstration of comics’ book techniques and participants will learn more how to use the tools of a cartoonist. This workshop will help you to find your own artistic and literary voice by teaching you how comics work in telling a story and some of the best comics will be published in eYouwins magazine.

4. Mov(i)e
The idea and aim of this workshop are to create short movie about the festival itself, and events/activities that follow the festival. Participants will work on shooting preparations, field shooting, editing and postproduction. This workshop will enable participants to express themselves creatively, to explore their own potentials and develop passion for art of visual story telling.

5. PerformaNS
This workshop will be combination of alternative techniques in theater, drama, art, dance, music, Forum theater etc. Participants should use their imagination, creativity, body language, improvisation etc. They will work together with professional drama teacher on preparation of performance for final presentation in Novi Sad (NS).
